Cheating at Inktober ‘18: Lois and Clark

“Are you going to draw them like Lewis and Clark? You know, like the explorers?”

No, because I don’t want to draw buckskin.

Seriously, though, Lois Lane is, like, the best character in comics. Well, maybe not the absolute best, but she’s pretty darn great.

Cheating at Inktober ‘18: Toyo Harada

Kinda phoning it in today, but I’m glad I got the chance to take a crack at this guy. Toyo Harada is the big bad of the Valiant line of comics, kind of a mix between Doctor Doom and the Kingpin, but also… like, weirdly sympathetic? Valiant comics are surprisingly great.

Cheating at Inktober ‘18: Storm

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Mohawk Storm is Best Storm.

I drew a Storm for my very first Inktober, but I wound up cutting the top of her head off. This time, I made sure that I got the top… and nothing else. Planning!

Cheating at Inktober ‘18: Judge Frollo

I’m experiencing a bit of a love/hate thing with Disney right now. At a corporate level, they’ve made a slew of decisions that genuinely give me a bit of fear. However, they continue to produce some of the most interesting mainstream media available. Even their less successful works, like The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, definitely spark a fair bit of conversation.

What can I say? We’re all slaves to capitalism.
